In the last few weeks we have been sending out Credly badges to all our excellent blog writers, volunteers, mentors, mentees, and more! It is our way of saying THANK YOU for your support and making sure that you get some recognition for your commitment to and enthusiasm for the profession.
What are Credly badges? 甚麼是Credly徽章？
In a nutshell, they are digital, verifiable certificates that allow you to demonstrate your services and skills. Here's the official explanation from Credly CEO Jonathon Finkelstein:
簡單來說，它們是數碼的、可認證的證書。它們展示你向圖書館同行提供的服務和技能。大家可以連結Credly的網站閱讀Credly CEO Jonathon Finkelstein其官方解釋.
Once you take part in one of our activities, such as writing for the blog or participating in our mentoring program, we will send you a Credly badge describing how you participated and expressing our gratitude! You can then share your Credly badge in a number of different ways. The most common is to integrate your badge into your LinkedIn profile to show your colleagues and future employers how you contribute to the profession. You can also share the badge on social media, embed it in your personal website, or link to it from a digital CV. See the full range of options on the Credly support site.
We hope you enjoy your shiny new badges! Let us know if you have any questions!
